St Peter's Hospice
Two Brislington postcards are known from this publisher, presumably issued as a fundraising venture for this charity which operates in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset areas, providing care and support to adults with a variety of life-limiting illnesses. It was incorporated in 1974.
In both postcards the photographer is credited as Malcolm Spooner. Both pictures feature the River Avon and although the photographer was on the far side of the river, the views include significant parts of Brislington. Judging from the colours in the trees, they were taken in autumn, perhaps even on the same day, but as the production of the postcards is technically different, it's most likely they were published at significantly separate times.
Although fundraising from these postcards ended long ago, other ways of supporting this charity are available online at St Peter's Hospice.
