Surrey Flying Services

This publisher specialised in aerial photographs including some of Brislington which were printed as real photographs postcards in monochrome.

S F S, as it sometimes appears on postcards, was a limited company based at Croydon aerodrome (some operations were also embedded at other airfields). They didn't only produce aerial photographs but offered pleasure flights, ran an air taxi service, provided flying lessons, serviced aircraft and, on one occasion at least, even built a biplane. They were mostly active in the 1920s and 1930s.
